BEPC Ⅱ is a double ring e+e-collider with high beam currents and luminosity,so the high beamrelated backgrounds may disturb the detector.In order to have a good quality of data taking,backgrounds should be kept at a level as low as possible.A series of collimators are designed and installed in both the e+and e-rings.Two of the collimators are horizontally movable,each for one ring,about 8 m upstream from the interaction point.Experiments have been done to identify the effectiveness of the movable collimators with different apertures and beam currents.The results show that the movable collimators are very effective and can reduce as much as about 50% of beam-related backgrounds. 相似文献

The poly(N‐vinylcarbazole)‐grafted MWNTs (MWNT‐PVK) hybrid materials were synthesized in the presence of S‐1‐Dodecyl‐S′‐(α, α′‐dimethyl‐α″‐acetic acid) trithiocarbonate (DDAT)‐covalently functionalized multiwalled carbon nanotubes (MWNT‐DDAT) as reversible addition–fragmentation chain transfer (RAFT) agent. Incorporation of the PVK moieties onto the MWNTs surface can considerably improve the solubility and processability of MWNTs. For all MWNT‐PVK hybrid materials, they are soluble in some common organic solvents such as toluene, THF, chloroform, DMF and others. In contrast to the UV/Vis spectrum of DDAT‐PVK, which was synthesized by use of DDAT as RAFT agent under the same synthetic condition, in the visible region, the absorption spectrum of MWNT‐PVK exhibited a typical electronic absorption characteristics of solubilized carbon nanotubes, in which the absorbance decreases gradually in the range of 350–600 nm. At the same level of linear transmission the MWNT‐PVK with 79.2% PVK moieties in the material structure possesses best optical limiting performance in comparison with the other MWNT‐PVK composites, MWNTs and C60. The significant NLO responses manifest the MWNT‐PVK materials suitable candidate for viable optical limiting devices. Light scattering, originating from the thermal‐induced microplasmas and/or microbubbles, is responsible for the optical limiting. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 制备了基于单根ZnO纳米线的紫外光探测原型器件,并研究了聚苯乙烯硫酸钠表面修饰对器件紫外响应特性的影响.研究发现,在相同的紫外光照射条件下,表面修饰后的器件对紫外光的探测灵敏度比修饰前提高了3个数量级.I-V特性研究表明,修饰前后器件在光照时的电导没有明显变化,但修饰后器件的暗电导却下降了3个数量级.这说明通过表面修饰降低探测器的暗电导是提高紫外光探测器灵敏度的一条重要途径.

A compact diode-side-pumped Tm:YAG laser is presented, which can output 51 W of cw power at 2.02 μm. The Tm:YAG rod is side pumped by nine diode arrays with the central wavelength of 783nm and the with bandwidth of about 2.5 nm at 25^o C. To decrease the thermal effect on the both ends and dissipate the heat effectively, one composite Tm:YAG rod with the undoped YAG end caps and the screw threads on the side surface of the rod is used as the laser crystal. We investigate the dependences of the potential energy surfaces (PES) and the fusion probabilities for some cold fusion reactions leading to super-heavy elements on the nuclear shell effect and pairing energy. It is found that the shell effect plays an important role in the fusion of the super-heavy element while pairing energy's contribution is insignificant. The fusion probabilities and evaporation residue cross sections as functions of the Ge-isotope projectile bombarding ^208Pb are also investigated. It is found that evaporation residue cross sections do not always increase with the increasing neutron number of Ge-isotope. 相似文献

We investigate the reduction of the group velocity propagation resulting from the steep change of the refractive index by the coherent population oscillation in erbium-doped optical fibre. The largest delay is measured to be about 8.75ms corresponding to a group index of 1.312×10^6. The time delay or advancement depends on the pump intensity. Influences of the ion density on the fractional delay and the group velocity reduction of light propagation are studied. Based on our discussion the optimization parameters should be selected in order to obtain more appropriate time delay and the slowdown of group velocity. 相似文献
